Do I need to have a company to invest or to buy real estate in Indonesia?

Yes. In Indonesia, it is regulated that foreigners (WNA or Foreign Nationals) can only buy property in two ways.

  1. Under individual name, WNA can only buy property with leasehold certification. The majority of property in the market will be offered 25 years in average, but there is an option to renew to 30, 40, 50 years with additional fees. It is also possible to find a property on sale with less than 25 years lease with slightly cheaper price.

  2. Under a company (PMA or Company with Foreign Investment), foreigners can buy property with freehold certification, which means the company can own it forever with no time limit.

If I want to invest, what are the next steps?

Step 1: We will sign a contract between investors and Realtyfy so you know the details of what you expect from us as your partner.

Step 3: Once the company is created, you will deposit the rest of the capital to finalize the purchase/sale contract with the developer from the company itself.

Step 5: 365 days after the buying process is finished, you will receive reports on how much our property is gaining and will receive your dividend based on your initial contribution
